This tiny Cretan village has a really autentic feel. You reach the village after about 4 km downhill drive of small roads. There ar neither a lot of parking space nor any big hotels or other sights. This incredible charming village with arround 100 inhabitants situatede at the Mirabello Gulf is as greek and charming as it can be.
We spend a little time wandering arround the narrow streets. Afterwards we visited one of the tavernas to have something to eat while looking at the very small beach and the world slowly passing by.
Below you see the small Island also named Mochlos just in front of the town, we did not visit the Island, but if you take the 5 minutes trip you can see the Minoan settlement out there.
