This small fishing village is my absolute favorite spot in the northern Jutland (mainland Denmark). I grew up not far from here and I always come back to Lønstrup for its authenticity and especially the rough west coast which I looove.
This day it was grey and cloudy – but still very pretty. We walked arround the natural harbor, where the fishing boats are pulled up from the wather with heavy chains.
There is also a upper walk way you can use when the sea is rough and leaving no room for walking at the beach.
The stunning red house whit the flags on the green dor is the old rescue building from 1936.
Adress: Kysten 10 Lønstrup, 9800 Hjørring. There is a big parking space just above the rescue building.
